Matt Campbell

I’m Dr. Matt Campbell and proudly serve as the owner and chiropractor of Elevate Chiropractic and Performance Therapy.

I fell in love with western North Carolina back in 2009 when I came up to ASU for school. In that four years, I was fortunate enough to meet my wife, obtain a BS in Exercise Science, and really start whetting my appetite for what it would look like to work in sports medicine. I then went on to Life University where I received my Doctorate in Chiropractic as well as a Masters Degree in Sport Health Science.

Before all of that, you would have found me on a soccer field just about anywhere in the south east. Growing up, I was on some of the most competitive teams in the Charlotte area. It was actually through soccer that I had my first taste of injury and, subsequently, what we would now call performance rehab. My parents took me to an absolute wizard of a man that was able to take me from being utterly broken to back on the field just by using his hands and his brain. He listened to my story, found the root of my problem and literally put me back together.

I don’t even know his name, but that man lit a fire within me that, in time, turned into a raging inferno.

“Athletes set the gold standard for health”. This phrase is the entire reason that I am so passionate about the field of sports medicine and rehab. It actually has very little to do with a desire to exclusively treat “athletes” and everything to do with the fact that this field solely contains the most cutting edge research and techniques on how to help people heal as quickly and completely as humanly possible. My passion is taking these concepts and applying them to active people that can’t figure out why their low back hurts when they pick up their kids, or why their knee hurts when they walk their dog. Nike says that if you move your body, you’re an athlete. I couldn’t agree any more and feel like you should be treated like one.

Performance and Nutrition Specialist

Jennifer Kurtz

I’m Dr. Jennifer A. Kurtz, and I’m honored to serve as your Performance and Nutrition Specialist.

My journey into the science of the human body started with a fascination for how we fuel our potential. As an Assistant Professor and researcher, I’ve spent years diving deep into the data, but I’ve always believed that science is most powerful when it’s applied in the real world. That’s why I’ve dedicated my career to being more than just a scientist; I’m a nutritional coach, certified sports nutritionist, and exercise physiologist driven by a singular goal: helping you move and feel better through precision fuel.

My research focuses on the "why" behind the "what"—targeted dietary interventions, the nuances of nutrient timing, and the strategic use of supplements to move the needle on endurance, strength, and recovery. I’ve spent countless hours in the lab analyzing metabolic exercise testing and blood biomarkers, specifically looking at how hormonal influences shape the metabolism of female athletes and endurance competitors.

But you don’t have to be a professional athlete or science guru for this data to matter to you.

I believe that whether you are training for a marathon, managing complex food sensitivities, or simply trying to optimize your health for the long haul, you deserve an elite level of care. My passion is taking high-level performance concepts—like hormonal health and metabolic efficiency—and making them accessible for your daily life. Whether we are navigating dietary restrictions together or fine-tuning your supplement interventions to improve your bloodwork, my mission is to find the root of your performance plateaus and give you the tools to break through them.

If you move, you are an athlete in my eyes, and I’m here to make sure your nutrition is the foundation of your success.
